This would be huge. Student A need penalty box restrictions due to their IEP, but Student B needs a different set of restrictions due to their individual IEP. Currently I am creating a Google Group and dropping kids into that and using our Lightspeed Filter to block them.

Gets to be a hassle with multiple different groups, with multiple different students. An option to have a Penalty Box OU structure like... Penalty Box > Facebook Penalty Box, Twitter Penalty Box for individual use cases per student.

Thanks for requesting Device Details in theft recovery sessions! We just released a completely new version of theft recovery in Admin 2.0 which syncs your device data from Google (serial numbers, asset ID, assigned user and more) and shows this info about each missing device. In addition, you can now mark devices as missing WITHOUT needing to move devices in the Google Admin Console. You can try out the new theft recovery here: admin.goguardian.com/theft-recovery.

Payment tracking for repairs varies greatly between schools, but we are currently researching if there are good ways to support many different workflows. Thanks for the feedback!

I do something in this regard already. I have a Google Drive folder "Chromebook Images" with sub folders for "Repairs" "Check Out" and "Check In". After I make a repair I use a Google Form and fill it out and it exports to a Google Sheet. I then have this sheet (=ImportRange..) into a main "management" sheet with 10 other sheets updating to it. Central location for Chromebook management/repair process information.

After a repair is made I used the notes field of the form and copy that information into our "Infinite Campus" student account in a fee tab. From there students can log in to their portal for grades, schedule, and fees.

If Goguardian had all of these features that would be amazing! :)

The detailed info pane now floats as your scroll through your list of device and repairs. Thanks for helping make GoGuardian Fleet better!

GoGuardian Fleet was originally developed for a default laptop screen, which limited the number of columns that could be shown.

In the short term, click the gear button next to the columns to select which columns to show on the dashboard.

In the long term, our design team is currently investigating the best way to allow more columns for wider screens.

    Thanks for the feedback!

The notes field has now been implemented in Fleet. Thanks for requesting it!

I used the notes field to indicate if this device has received a new motherboard or not. We identify our Chromebooks with a numbering scheme other than the serial number. When a motherboard is swapped, the serial number changes, but the sticker on the bottom of the device stays the same (old motherboard)

You can now attach PDF’s and images to repairs in GoGuardian Fleet!

This would be helpful, I currently use my Drive as an organization for device repairs. Have started to have students say "It was like that when I got it." This is hard to defend because we didn't have a way to prove them wrong.

Hence device repair image uploads began and have saved us a lot of parent/guardian conflicts.
