Option to send an email when device marked as "needs repair"
When the status is changed to needs repair, allow the option to send an email to an email address of the admin's choosing. Example, I have a ticketing system that I would want and email sent to, that would generate a new IT ticket to the IT staff. This way the end user would only need update the status of the device, not have to update the status and create an IT ticket.
We are in the research stage now to understand the best repair process (from beginning to end) to meet your needs. Providing tech assignment and email notifications is part of this flow and will be started soon!

Cody - I don't know if this is still a planned feature.
Over the next couple of weeks we will be transitioning from using both Google Admin Console and Fleet to solely using Fleet and using it to track all repairs, etc. We would like to see these features if it is still possible.

This is a feature that is really important to us. It's a little disconcerting to read that as of almost two years ago it's in process and nothing has been done with it yet.
And Cody, I would be happy to test this feature out if you need anybody.
I came here to suggest this also. It would keep us from having to check the service multiple times a day to see if we have to do any repairs.
