  1. Add a way to designate a device as a loaner for a particular user

    We provide loaners for students whose original Chromebook is in for repair. Students who've damaged a loaner lose the privilege of keeping their device after graduation, so we would need to track this, if possible.

    Designating devices as loaners and filtering for those devices has now been launched in GoGuardian Fleet. Thanks for your help in guiding which features we should build next!

  2. Allow picture uploading for device repairs

    I like to upload photos of the Chromebook damage to document why it needs to be repaired.

    You can now attach PDF’s and images to repairs in GoGuardian Fleet!

  3. Allow assigning/linking user accounts to a repair order

    Each repair should allow a user to be assigned to the order, not just be linked to the assigned user for the device. Sometimes other students break other students devices and are responsible. I believe a "User that caused the damage" section would be great.

    Each repair now has a “Responsible User” attribute that you can modify in case the student that was assigned wasn’t the one that broke the device.

    Autofilling user emails from your google user profiles is now complete! To import your users, click on the question mark in the upper right corner and click “force sync”. Once it is done, please test out the feature and send me any and all feedback!

  6. Clarify the dropdown for Organizational Units under Inventory device details

    Some OUs may have similar structure, but the drop down flattens it to only the bottom OU.

    For example:
    SCHOOL1 > Users, SCHOOL1>Devices,
    SCHOOL2 > Users, SCHOOL2> Devices,
    SCHOOL3 > Users, SCHOOL3> Devices, etc.

    The drop down only shows the bottom of the OU so the drop down choices would be:
    SCHOOL1,
    SCHOOL2,
    SCHOOL3,
    Users,
    Users,
    Users,
    Devices,
    Devices,
    Devices.

    Such as "Replaced device" and "waiting for parts" or allow an "other" option

  8. Right window should float as you scroll

    The right window that shows device details should float down the screen as you scroll. Another way to say it is that as you scroll down the screen the window should always stay in view. That way when you are scrolling a long list and click on a chromebook you don't have to scroll all the way to the top to see it's detail.

    The detailed info pane now floats as your scroll through your list of device and repairs. Thanks for helping make GoGuardian Fleet better!

  9. Include notes field

    The notes field does not import into Fleet. We use this to track purchase info and misc notes that do not apply to other fields.
