Provide parent access to see student activity
On-demand access to parents to see student's browsing activity (e.g top contents, top searches, browsing history, etc.) and teacher interventions (e.g., locked screens, closed tabs, etc.)
We’re happy to announce that GoGuardian Admin now has a new parent reporting app that enables your school to share a student’s online activity with their parent or guardian.

We would really like a way to add a parent alert for weekends and holidays, as well as a parent report that could be subscribed to by parents.
We would like to see an option that parents could also get notified when there is a serious flag on a student account.

This is an excellent idea, but it is not enough. I would like for us, the school to stay out of the parenting business, except when the students are in school. So yes, it would definitely be a step in the right direction for parents to be able to get a report (so that at least there is a better way to keep kids accountable instead of just blocking everything, which doesn't teach any self-regulation), but if it means that parents then come to me to make policy changes for specific students, that is problematic. I would like parents to be able to make their own policies for their child's internet access and some kids definitely need more restrictions and supervision than others.

Lightspeed Relay is working on an automated parent report generator. GoGuardian needs to offer this as well.
plz make one for parents

Export report in parent friendly way. PDF of content on "Browsing Activity" page where it shows searches in human readable format. Ability to run this new report for a full week so i can email the parent weekly their human readable browsing activity report.
With all the requests for this, why have you been reviewing it for two years without an answer?

Has there been any progress made on this feature?
It is really handy for parents.

Really need this idea as I work at a smaller school and I'm actually a full time science teacher/part time IT dept. I am starting to get overwhelmed with parent requests for their child's activity online.
Been with GoGUardian for about two years now and overall have enjoyed the product but really looking at other options due to the constant parental pressure for this option.

We are considering moving away from GoGuardian to Securly for this feature.

This would be the number one think on my list that GoGuardian needs to implement. Many parents ask for this if not at least a regular report of activity. Please implement!

Checking back. Securly does this well including at home filtering control and a physical device for BYOD at home. GG, ready to meet this need?

Status on this? There is a strong need for this.

This feature makes other filter solutions an attractive option.

I get requests every summer for the best way for parents to manage their children's chromebook usage while they are away from school and I hate pointing them to some other web filter or management tool (there aren't many option for chromebooks...) when we are already paying for GoGuardian on their child's device. Some type of parent portal would be very nice. Integration with Blackbaud's onCampus application would be even nicer since all the parent-to-student connections are already in place!

Parents definitely need to be automatically looped in to their students online use. This feature is definitely needed.

Just like guardian summaries in Classroom this would be fantastic to pre-populate the emails and this could automatically be sent out to parents. Yes please!

PLEASE! This would be most helpful!
