Allow administrators to query GoGuardian using a RESTful API for specific data that could be leveraged in other applications. I believe the GET request would only be needed.
EXAMPLE: Correlate data from time spent on math.xyz to actual test scores stored in our data warehouse.
EXAMPLE: Integrate stolen device information with our asset management system.

Support informed me today that there is not an API. I'm not sure what "Anonymous" was talking about... If there is an API, let us know :-).
there already is an api, its really insecure as well. you can leak student data from it pretty much undetected

System interoperability is a core feature. Having an API to allow communication between Go Guardian and other systems would move the product ahead of everyone else in the marketplace. Image being able to export from Fleet and importing the data into your SIS. Even a third party company such as Clever would go a long way with districts.

I would like to revisit this idea of creating an API to interact with the data collected in GoGuardian. This would absolutely differentiate your product from anything else on the market. The data collected could be correlated with other data sets to create models of student and instructional activity. This data could also be pumped into a log aggregation solutions and further manipulated. Users could create custom KPI dashboards. Activity reports could be created for students and automatically sent to parents without creating a single CSV file. Please consider this project.
I second this.
I would like to be able to create rules, such as
If number of minutes for YouTube being active exceeds a week allowance, then YouTube can not be opened by the student.
So I would like to have an api that defines how to collect data from GoGuardian (RESTful API) and a method to implement features.
