Drag and and Drop Student Thumbnail Tiles in Live Session View
By allowing teachers to rearrange the listed order of students in sessions, teachers can better monitor the students who are more likely to be on the wrong site.

Attempt this: select a few clasps in the Browser, haul as typical and drift over the Session or Arrange without discharging them. Presently on the off chance that you hold Control before you drop them, you should see them change format alternative BEFORE you really let go of the mouse button. You can flip the control key now and again before you drop to go to and fro between the two designs. Allow me to move kids temporarily on dashboard. Sometimes I have a small group doing something, so if I could put all their screens at the top of my dashboard temporarily just to watch them, it would be super helpful.

It would be great if it could pull in the seating chart from Aeries.

It would be great if teachers could organize students into a seating chart layout in the session view.

Allow us to drag student screen tiles to whichever position we want them in. So we can choose to see them in order of who is actually online, alphabetically, only screens we want to keep an eye on etc.

I would like the ability to drag and drop students (arrange them) in the live view, so I can keep an eye on students more easily.

While on the "student screen" page allow teachers to drag and rearrange the screens in any order to prioritize and watch those who need monitoring
Rebecca Consley commented
I came to this idea page to put this same idea in! I always have the same few students who need more monitoring, and of course they are not by each other when I'm looking at the screen. This would make my day much easier. I could leave this up and just glance every so often really quickly.

I love this!

This would be a great feature. Then I could arrange it in a seating chart so I can just view them in the spot they are sitting. This would especially be helpful when students are working in groups to see which groups are on task and which ones aren't.
Mike Hastings commented
Have classes set up so I can arrange them in a seating chart that is applied in screen view mode.
Debbie Grothaus commented
This would be extremely helpful. We all know which students we need to keep an eye on and having to scroll up and down constantly because one of them is named Aidan and the other Zach is not helpful!! It just takes up too much time to keep tabs on students this way!
It would be wonderful to be able to move the students that are absent to the bottom of the screen; this would make it easier to monitor
Megan Sovie commented
Sometimes I would like to have 4 or 5 specific students in my view all the time while others don't need to be monitored as closely.
Currently the only options for sorting are online, offline, first name, last name. Having a custom sort would be beneficial occasionally.

Hello! I'm sure everyone using Go Guardian has had a student or two visiting or attempting to visit inappropriate/unapproved websites. Students that have repeatedly broken teacher's trust should have their screens showing at the top for better monitoring.
Tanya Ely commented
For example, it would be nice to create a seating chart or at least move the absent students to the end of the list.
Tom Gadzala commented
make screens movable (like apps on an iphone), so active screens can be moved above student screens who are not logged on

Hapara allowed me to drag/drop students to the top of an active session to keep a closer eye on certain individuals :)

Does the rearrange feature work? I can't understand it, I've tried to list/view "online" versus "offline", last/first name, or whichever options are provided ... I've honestly not seen one of those options actually organize the students into said organization alignment. Help me understand this feature ...

So we can pull students needing more attention to top row
